These terms govern your use of this website and participation in any offerings, including retreats, workshops, and online or in-person classes.

1. Event Participation & Payment

  • Registration is confirmed upon full payment or deposit.

  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

  • You are responsible for reading event descriptions and understanding what is (and isn’t) included.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation policies vary by event and are clearly stated in the event’s registration materials, marketing pages, or individual agreements. By registering for an event, you agree to the specific cancellation and refund terms outlined for that offering.

    In general:

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Full or partial refunds, if applicable, are subject to the deadlines and terms specified for each event.

  • No refunds will be granted after the stated cutoff date for that specific event, regardless of circumstance.

  • In some cases, a registration may be transferred to another participant with prior written approval.

  • I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events. In that case, full refunds will be offered.

  • Please review the details provided in the promotional materials or registration page for each offering before completing your registration. If you have questions, contact me before booking.

3. Health & Liability

  • By attending, you confirm that you are physically and emotionally fit for participation.

  • You agree to assume all risks associated with travel, group activities, and physical movement.

  • You waive all rights to claims against Shannon “Sati” Chmelar for injury, loss, or damages that may arise during or after participation.

4. Not a Substitute for Therapy or Medical Care

  • These offerings are not mental health treatment, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care.

  • Attendees are responsible for seeking their own medical or psychological support when needed.

5. Therapy Clients — Clear Boundary Statement

  • Current and active psychotherapy clients are strongly discouraged from attending retreats, workshops, or events to protect the integrity of the therapeutic relationship and avoid dual roles.

  • This website and its offerings are not marketed to therapy clients.

  • Participation in events does not establish or continue a therapeutic relationship.

6. Intellectual Property

All content (videos, PDFs, written material, audio, etc.) is the property of Shannon Chmelar unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reuse materials without written permission.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any legal dispute shall be handled within its jurisdiction.
